	Slide-A-Word Use big index cards or card-stock to make these simple learning tools. Cut slits in the card as the picture shows. In between the slits, write the middle of words--digraphs, dipthongs, doubles, etc. Cut strips to fit through the slits. Write beginning and ending consonants on the strips so the students can slide them up and down to make new words.
